31 weeks!

On Sunday Cody took a few 31 week pics for me. I haven't been very good about taking them every week. It's more like once a month! Oh well. Here are a couple that I liked. (yes Londyn is crazy!!) 8 weeks and 5 days to go....hopefully less though! = )

Funny Girl

So Londyn has a very nurturing side to her, along with a great imagination! Yesterday we made a trip to Home Depot to get a few things for the yard. Londyn feel in love with the snap dragons. So I told her she could hold them on the way home. I turned around and this is what I saw! She had tucked her flowers in; apparently they were cold!

Big Girl and a sneak peak....

So Londyn is officially in a "big girl" bed. Yes she is almost 3, but she was soooo good in a crib that we waited as long as we could to take her out. She never stood in it, jumped in it or tried to get out of it. But, luckily she is doing just as well in her new bed. She has fallen out once and another night I found her w/ her head hanging off, face down, but other than that she's doing great. The same weekend we got her bed we painted Jackson's room, moved the crib and changing table over and put the new crib bedding in. I've had it for over a month now, so it was fun to see it in the room. I'm not done with the room yet, but here's a sneak peak.

It's Blue! That's about all I'm going to show until I get a few more things done. Just under 3 months to go! WaHoo!

Easter

Londyn got to see the Easter Bunny for the 1st time while we were in St. George. She loved him. There were no other kids in line, so she just sat on his lap for like 5 minutes, just content! It was cute.

Trip down South

My parents drove out from Louisiana in their new motorhome and their 1st stop was St. George (well Hurricane). And Cody had to go out of town for 3 days last week, so we all headed to St. George and Cody just caught his plane in Vegas. He was only gone for 3 of the 6 days we were there, but it was nice for Londyn and I to have family to hang out with.

This was at a Mexican restaurant in Kanab on our way to Zion's.

Zion's. I'd never been there before. And I didn't really get to appriciate it becuase we just drove through it because Londyn was asleep. It was beautiful though.

Hangin out with uncle Caleb. He had his Spring football game on Saturday. That was another reason we went down there.

Blowing bubbles! It wasn't as warm as I had hoped, but it was still nice to just be outside!

Gettin' crafty again

I went to a friend's baby shower today, so now that I have given the gift away I can post a picture of it. I gave her the mini diaper cake up top, it's just a single layer of daipers held together by a headband and a matching dress in the middle, and I gave her the diaper cloth on the bottom. It's a new style I tried; it's puffy with frayed edges. And then at a focus group a couple weeks ago I made Londyn that pillow case. Oh, and I made another pair of baby legs, and yes it is possible to totally mess them up! After I finished them I realized the bottom cuff part was inside out. Oops. They are still wearable though!

Jackson's 1st photoshoot... finally

So I had my ultrasound 3 weeks ago, but am just now getting around to scanning them! Here's a few of my favorite ones!

Big girl

So last week I noticed I was getting low on Londyn's diapers and really didn't want to buy anymore. So on Friday I started the potty training. I knew we would be home most of the weekend and figured, why not try! And she took to it like a pro! I had tried before, but I think she was really ready this time. We've been at it for the last week and she keeps getting better and better. We only do pull-ups when she sleeps and when we go out. But hey, now I won't have to buy diapers for 2 kids! Yay!

It's a.....

.....BOY! Our little guy wasn't shy at all and gave us a good look at him! Before the nurse even said anything, I could tell it was a boy. Crazy! We thought for sure it was going to be a girl, so we were a little surprised, but very excited! Let the shopping and the name list begin! (I'll post pics after we scan them). Eeee! I'm so excited!

Kickin'

Last night the baby was kicking like crazy! I've started to feel little kicks the last 10 days or so, but nothing like this! So I told Londyn to hurry and come feel the baby kicking. She put her hand on my tummy, and her face when she felt it kick was priceless!

Valentine's day

We started V-day off with some yummy heart-shaped (and one bear) french toast! It was fun for it to be on a Saturday so we could spend the whole day with Cody.

Next, Cody and Londyn got to work on the 20 baked potatoes we had to make for dinner. She would "try" to poke them and then throw them into the pile of ones Cody had already poked. This is him trying to find Londyn's potatoes so he could really poke them! What a good little helper she was!! And dinner turned out AWESOME!!! Thanks to everyone who helped, it all turned out great! Any ideas of what to do with 11 left-over baked potatoes?! Well, I think I am down to 8!

Last weeked...

Last weekend my parents flew up from Louisiana and my brother Caleb came up from St. George. We had a fun jam-packed weekend!
- We went to the Boat Show Thursday night.
- Friday was my Dad's birthday so we went to dinner at El Matador and rented a movie.
- Saturday we went to park city and shopped and went to the tubbing park. My mom and I didn't tube, but Cody, Londyn, my dad and Caleb did. It was snowing like crazy and it was an icky wet snow, but that didn't stop them. They did it for 2 hours and Londyn still wanted to go more. She's such a dare devil.
- Saturday night we did dinner at Spaghetti Factory and a movie.
- Sunday: church and temple square.

Then they left on Monday and it was back to life = ( It was fun while it lasted!

(oh, did anyone else see that awesone rainbow on Saturday afternoon? It was so pretty.)

Playroom

We finished the playroom upstairs...mostly. It's not really decorated yet, but we're going to do a safari animal theme.

These are the shelves that took FOREVER to make. But now they divide the loft and give Londyn a space to play! Good job Cody!

Skiing w/ Londyn

2 weeks ago we had a family ski day w/ Cody's family. It was a beautiful day for skiing; sunny and not too cold! It was Londyn's 3rd time up this season. The 1st time she took a couple or runs, but stayed between Cody's legs w/ him holding her arms the whole time. The 2nd time she played in a snow bank for a hour and ate snow. But this time Cody let go of her and she automatically put her arms out for balance and skiied on her own. It was so cute...until she fell and hit her head. Then she was done.

Of course we had to hit the hot tub after lunch. This is my subdued Londyn after 3 hrs of skiing. After hottubbing she fell asleep from 5:30-8:30...woke up for about 15 minutes on the drive home, and then went to bed at 9:30 and slept all night. Guess we wore her out!
