Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was freezing cold and windy, but still so much fun. The kids were of course very excited to see what the Easter bunny brought them.
After getting the ham in the crockpot it was a mad rush getting ready for church and snapping a few pictures of the kids before we left! Cody said, "can't we just take pictures after church?" I had to explain to him that it wouldn't be the same, and sure enough by the time we got home from church Londyn's curls were almost gone, Jackson's tie was who knows where and his shirt was untucked.... Anyway. Glad we got a few before church : )
Then at 2:00 we had out Easter feast at our house with 2 of our good family friends. There were 17 of us and we had a great time. The food was all so so yummy. And since it was too cold to go outside, we had the older kids hide eggs in our basement for the little kids to find!
It was sad to not have any family for Easter, but we were grateful to have great friends to celebrate it with!

Saturday before Easter

The day before Easter turned out to be a nice day once it stopped raining!
We got Londyn's new room put together a little more. We played outside with the melting snow river in our street while Cody spray painted a few projects. Then we came in and dyed Easter eggs. They LOVED that! And even ate half of them that night.
