Thank you to my mother-in-law for sewing the bumper! And that's the one and only blanket I've made for Jackson. He better get here soon. I had an appointment today (39wks, 1day) and I didn't get to see my Dr. He was stuck at another hospital. Anyway, I was 2.5cm and still 70% effaced. And for now I still have to wait to go into labor on my own. I have an appt. set for next Monday(1 day over due) and if I haven't had him yet we will come up with a plan.
This is Londyn in the Moses Basket when it was pink! Almost 3 years ago to the day!

Turkey? Maybe?

Yesterday we had someone coming to look at our house between 1:00 and 3:00, so we decided to head up to Park City to do a little outlet shopping and then go up to his parents to make dinner for his grandma. The weather was so nice. Anyway, on our way down the mountain from his parents house we saw this CRAZY bird! It looks like a mini turkey! What the heck is it?

What a tease!
So I can already tell this baby has a mind of his own! Late Tuesday night I thought maybe my water had broken. I waited for labor to start that night and all the next day, but nothing. I left a message w/ the nurse but she never called me back. I figured it probably hadn't broke, but I was still nervous that I would be the one where labor doesn't start, but then ends up w/ an infection.... so about 9:30 Wed. night Cody and I decided we should call the Doc on call and just tell them what was up. It was my Dr. on call and he wanted me to come in to be safe. Our nice neighbor came over to sit w/ Londyn since she was in bed already and we headed to the hospital. They did a couple of tests and everything turned out negative, but my blood pressure was a little high so they monitored me for another hour and then sent me home. Good times! An expensive tour of Labor and Delivery! So then last night I couldn't fall asleep, so I was just laying in bed and then contractions started at 11:50 and were coming every 5 minutes until about 1:15. Then they slowed down to every 7 minutes, and they never really hurt, so I just fell asleep hoping that they would wake me up again. But no, I woke up at 7:00 w/ no contractions. Oh well, hopefully I've at least progressed a little.

It's true....
.... there is a For Sale sign in my yard. About 2 weeks ago Cody had a long drive home and said, "Wanna move to Draper?!" I thought he was joking, but... he was serious. He said he had this feeling like it was time for us to move (over the years I've learned that when Cody has an impression about something he's usually right). So we looked at houses online that night, then spent 3-4 hours driving around Traverse Mtn in Lehi the next day, contacted our friend who is a real estate agent, had her show us about 20 properties the next week, and then we listed our house. CRAZY!!! I have very mixed emotions about the whole thing. We just got our house and yard the way we want it, I have my nursery all ready, oh and I could be having a baby anyday (minor detail!).... And the thought of leaving all of our friends and Londyn's cute little friends makes me sooo sad. But on the other hand if we can sell our house we could get into a house that is much bigger and be able to stay there for a looong time. And Cody would only be 5-10 minutes from work and be able to ride his bike there on most days. It's all really weird to think about, but I guess we'll just see how it goes, and cross the big bridges when we get to them.

Baby update
So I had an ultrasound yesterday. I was 33 weeks and 3 days. They took 4 measurements of him, his femur, head, abdomen and I can't remember the other one, but the average of the 4 measurements put him at 35 weeks and a couple days!! Oh and they guessed him to be 5'13"!! I know ultrasounds are usually a little generous and predict that they are bigger than they really are, so my dr. didn't get too, too excited. The only problem is, is that I want to do a VBAC. I had a c-section w/ Londyn and I want to try to deliver the normal way this time. My dr. is all for it, but he doesn't want to induce me. It's better for a person doing a VBAC to go into labor on their own. The risk is uterine rupture (scary!!) so if they use pitocin it can make the contractions too strong. So I think I'll be doing a lot of walking in the next few weeks and hope that I go into labor early on my own. If I still haven't had him as it gets closer to my due date, the more likely I'll have to have a repeat c-section, because of his size. So, we'll see!! I'm just anxious for him to get here. I want to see him! He was really wiggly during the ultrasound so I didn't get very good pictures. Only 2 sort-of ok profile shots.
But, overall I feel pretty ready for him. I have most of the stuff he'll need right away. Like pjs, onesies, binkies, blankets and bottles. His room is all ready (but like he'll even be in there!) and my mother in law is making new bassinet bedding for me so that's almost ready. I just need things for later, like bigger clothes, boy bibs, boy sippy cups, boy toys...pretty much all things BOY! I want to get some sort of swing too, cuz I know I won't be able to hold him all the time with a demanding 3 year old! Exciting times! Cody wants to start taking bets on when he'll get here. He thinks July 14th. I think July 20th (the actual due date is Aug 2nd). Who knows?!?!

4 Years
(my twin cousins Sam and Karli, 2 of my flower girls. See the rain puddles behind them?)4 years ago today I married my best friend! What a great day! It's kind of weird though because the weather today is almost exactly how the weather was on our wedding day. I woke-up to a cold, rainy, windy day. When I went to get my hair done my umbrella blew inside out. I was so upset that of all days it had to rain it had to on my wedding day! When we went into the temple it was still raining, but.... by the time we came out for pictures it had stopped raining and about 30 minutes later, the clouds were gone and it turned out to be a beautiful, cool, sunny day. It turned out perfect! We had our reception at the Salt Lake Country Club and we got to use the inside and the outside, so I'm so glad the weather cleared up.

It's been a good 4 years; working as a nurse, being a mom, waiting for Jackson to get here, building our 1st house, going through job changes, trips, etc..... A lot of good memories! I can't wait to see what else is in store for us! Happy Anniversary Cody!

The reveal...
Here are a few pictures of baby Jackson's room. It's pretty much done, I just need a few more things for the walls; pictures, vinyl lettering, a shelf, etc..... But we think it turned out pretty cute. We love to just sit in there at night in the rocker. It's a calming room, hopefully Jackson will think so too!

31 weeks!
On Sunday Cody took a few 31 week pics for me. I haven't been very good about taking them every week. It's more like once a month! Oh well. Here are a couple that I liked. (yes Londyn is crazy!!) 8 weeks and 5 days to go....hopefully less though! = )

Funny Girl
So Londyn has a very nurturing side to her, along with a great imagination! Yesterday we made a trip to Home Depot to get a few things for the yard. Londyn feel in love with the snap dragons. So I told her she could hold them on the way home. I turned around and this is what I saw! She had tucked her flowers in; apparently they were cold!

Big Girl and a sneak peak....
So Londyn is officially in a "big girl" bed. Yes she is almost 3, but she was soooo good in a crib that we waited as long as we could to take her out. She never stood in it, jumped in it or tried to get out of it. But, luckily she is doing just as well in her new bed. She has fallen out once and another night I found her w/ her head hanging off, face down, but other than that she's doing great. The same weekend we got her bed we painted Jackson's room, moved the crib and changing table over and put the new crib bedding in. I've had it for over a month now, so it was fun to see it in the room. I'm not done with the room yet, but here's a sneak peak.
It's Blue! That's about all I'm going to show until I get a few more things done. Just under 3 months to go! WaHoo!

Easter
Londyn got to see the Easter Bunny for the 1st time while we were in St. George. She loved him. There were no other kids in line, so she just sat on his lap for like 5 minutes, just content! It was cute.
Easter morning. Checking out the goods!
She didn't get that massager thing in her hand, I don't know why she was holding it!
The Easter Bunny was very good to her this year! These are the only pics I have, Cody got better ones on his camera.

Trip down South
My parents drove out from Louisiana in their new motorhome and their 1st stop was St. George (well Hurricane). And Cody had to go out of town for 3 days last week, so we all headed to St. George and Cody just caught his plane in Vegas. He was only gone for 3 of the 6 days we were there, but it was nice for Londyn and I to have family to hang out with.
This was at a Mexican restaurant in Kanab on our way to Zion's.Zion's. I'd never been there before. And I didn't really get to appriciate it becuase we just drove through it because Londyn was asleep. It was beautiful though.
Hangin out with uncle Caleb. He had his Spring football game on Saturday. That was another reason we went down there.
Blowing bubbles! It wasn't as warm as I had hoped, but it was still nice to just be outside!
